Another poem by William Kemmett by Rustin Larson

Bill Kemmett writes: "Dear Rustin, just a quick hello to thank you for the good words on BLACK OIL which is only weeks away from publication.  I've been writing more than ever even though it's been a private love for the most part.  But your kind blurb in IOWA SOURCE has been a bit of a head's up prior to actual publication.  Again thanks for the support.  Sincerely, Bill."

Turns out, his book is available now!  Ordering information below.  In celebration, here's a new poem from Bill:

FLOUNDERING

All the tears are empty
 but in each one swims
an ocean of angels, electric-
 eels, bottom-fish with eyes
on one side.  Evolving
 toward a place they know
is there but can't see.
