In 1968, some amazing musicians by the names of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon, George Harrison, Donovan, Paul Horn, and Mike Love studied in Rishikesh, India, with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Their unusual pilgrimage sparked the interest of hundreds of thousands of young people around the world. Now, 40-plus years later, many of those same musicians will be on the same stage for the “Change Begins Within” concert, lending their names and artistic talents to bring meditation to a new generation of young people.
 
The concert is a most extraordinary event. To have Paul and Ringo on stage at Radio City Music Hall in support of bringing Transcendental Meditation to at-risk children is unprecedented.  Other fantastic musicians include Sheryl Crowe, Donovan, Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, Moby, Paul Horn, Betty Lavette, and Jim James.  David Lynch emphasizes the purpose of the “Change Begins Within” benefit concert is to raise funds to teach one million kids to meditate. Paul and Ringo are delighted to be a part of this beautiful goal that could surely help change the world.
