How about an article on the greeding of green? (In Fairfield)
Organic food prices in the non-sustainable stratosphere at the local "natural" foods store; real estate prices vitually non-sustainable (2000 square foot homes asking $500,000 ); eco-village crackerboxes in the $300,000 range, not to mention those little boxes over on the campus (mostly unsold I am told). And since when is Sthapatya Ved housing meant to be the latest excuse to try and gouge buyers? What is this? Do developers, realtors and sellers not understand the word non-sustainable or has the Green Greed virus hit here too? And what about all these gas-chugging SUV's cruising about town? A 'save-the-whale' bumper sticker on a vehicle that gets 6 miles to the gallon is a depressing misguided oxymoron.

Signed,
Watching the Greeding of Green in Fairfield. - Conrad
