Maharishi Vedic Pandits ArriveIncreased Numbers Will Help Fulfill Maharishi's Goal of Invincibility for America
On January 12, 2008, 537 Vedic Pandits were living in Maharishi Vedic City. By the end of June, that number will go up to 1,050.With 800 Maharishi Vedic Pandits already housed on their quiet campus in Maharishi Vedic City and on the Maharishi University of Management campus in Fairfield, the community is poised to host another 250 Pandits immediately. This would bring the total number of Pandits to 1,050 and fulfill Maharishi’s goal of creating invincibility for America. These 1,050 Maharishi Vedic Pandits will be thrilling the atmosphere with daily Vedic Performances and joining the Yogic Flyers already here, thereby establishing a permanent group of over 2,000 in both morning and evening programs. This unprecedented achievement will help foster peace in the world and fulfill Maharishi’s final blessing for mankind: “The future is bright, and that is my delight.” With this worthy project so close to completion, all that remains is to raise funds to cover travel expenses and up-front costs for the additional Vedic Pandits, plus construction of more residences on the Maharishi Vedic City campus. What is Needed Immediately? For $1800, you can support the up-front costs for a Maharishi Vedic Pandit. That amount covers air and ground transportation, and other set-up costs. A total of $450,000 is needed. Construction of new housing is also underway at the campus in Maharishi Vedic City. These additional dwellings will provide comfortable housing for the 200 Vedic Pandits who just arrived as well as the final 250 Vedic Pandits still to come, plus the 200 Pandits currently housed at Maharishi University of Management, which will free up much needed housing for new MUM students. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda-designed modular housing can be built very quickly, and enough housing can be constructed each week to accommodate 80 to 100 Vedic Pandits. Thirty-three homes will accommodate the new arrivals, plus those currently living on the MUM campus. In addition, another dining hall and program hall will be built. To complete the campus for all 1,050 Vedic Pandits, the total cost will be $4 million. Houses will begin arriving in mid-June. Within a short period of time this summer, the full complement of 1050 Vedic Pandits will be here in America, living together on their own 80-acre campus. You Can Help! Your donation will make a difference. Contributions for the Vedic Pandits’ travel and housing can be made through tax-deductible donations.
