Sugarless Chocolate Pudding

An Easy Blender Recipe for Fat-Free Chocolate Pudding

by Bonita Carol

Make this yummy sugarless chocolate pudding in a blender or CuisineArt.

Chocolate Pudding

1 cup dried black mission figs, cut in half
2 tsps. organic dark cocoa powder
Cinnamon and nutmeg

Place the figs in a bowl and add a little hot water. Soak for about 10 minutes.  Add the soaked figs to blender with 2 teaspoons organic dark cocoa powder and a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg. Blend to pudding consistency. You may have to add some more figs or cocoa, depending on the strength you like.

If you need it a little soupier, you can add a little fresh squeezed orange juice—it adds another dimension.  Some people add a teaspoon of nut butter, but I don’t think it needs it.
