The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood Opens December 11-14

From silly to surly, the hams in the Robin Hood cast get into character at rehearsal.

Fairfield Youth Performing Arts (FYPA) is excited to present its second ever production, The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood by Mary Lynn Dobson, running December 11–14 at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.

Directed by Amber Adkins and featuring a fantastic all-youth cast, this clever take on the classic adventure tale promises to be a laugh-out-loud family affair. Travel back and forth between Sherwood Forest and Nottingham Castle and cheer on Robin Hood (and his enormous ego) as he prepares to win an unusual tournament to save his Lady Marian from marrying the wrong guy. Brace yourself for campy jokes, audience asides, and swordfights with spoons!
