I sat in on part of the Banjo Boy dress rehearsal. Again, so impressed with the quality of talent, costumes, and the music. The music – more and more in musical theater there is less and less live orchestrated music. What a difference it makes to hear Justin Hill, our musical director, lead the sweet, woodwind-rich orchestra in the opening overture. This is a big show, there are many set changes, costume changes, and the time passed quickly as I was lead from scene to scene, song by song.
