Quilt Raffle for ARC of Jefferson County

The Arc of Jefferson County is launching raffle ticket sales for a queen-sized quilt made locally and donated to The Arc, to raise funds for camp for local and area individuals who are intellectually or otherwise developmentally disabled. The quilt design is “Log Cabin – Star,” machine stitched and quilted.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5, sold through the last day of the County Fair at The Arc booth. The drawing will be 4 p.m. June 28, 2009, at The Arc booth.

Arc Board of Directors and  other Arc members have tickets to sell, or contact Darlene Vorhies 472-4449, Sr Janet Kreber at 319/694-3209, or Mary Coffin at 919-7442.

A silent auction at The Arc County Fair booth will also to raise funds for specal needs individuals. People and businesses wishing to donated money or an auctionable item/s for that effort may contact these same Arc Board members.
