Every other year, ICON Gallery holds a fundraiser art auction of “mini art” featuring works no bigger than 5” x 7”. This year, the auction opens during First Fridays on November 7, 6:30–10 p.m.
The minimum bid for all art is only $15. All proceeds go toward ICON Gallery operating expenses. Bidding will take place online, but the art will be on view in the gallery for six weeks. Bring your phone to the gallery and bid on the spot, or bid from home at Icon-art.org. New works are arriving weekly, and the final day of bidding is Wednesday, December 17.
Participating artists include John Preston, Danielle Shier, Bill Teeple, Greg Thatcher, Joanie McGinnis, Wendy Stegal, Care Connet, Cris Soth, Allen Cobb, Irene Murphy, Liz Howard, Susan Marcus, Chris Cambridge, Rosemary Lucente, Cindy Ballou, Dawn McKay, and Margaret Lindquist. Donated art by local artists will be added throughout the exhibition period.
ICON Gallery is located at 58 N. Main Street in Fairfield on the west side of the square. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m.
