A large grant from Chase’s Business Banking unit will help transform local Fairfield business Shaktea Kombucha, giving it the power to reach new consumers all over the country. Shaktea Kombucha was one of 12 businesses selected for a grant from over 35,000 entries.
The Dowd family began brewing kombucha more than 10 years ago. Out of a shared passion for health and a desire to forge a business as a family, they launched Shaktea Kombucha in June 2011. They offer product as “Nature’s Healthy Soda Alternative” because they are committed to providing a superior health beverage with a taste that appeals to everyone.
