Musical theater company Way Off Broadway will present Disney’s Mulan this weekend, October 25–27, at the Sondheim Center in Fairfield. The action-packed stage adaptation of Disney’s popular film will feature all of the famous songs from the movie as well as new songs created just for this special production. The musical features a cast of over 35 performers and showcases Julia Fritz as Mulan, Gareth West as Chang, and Mya Gottshall as Mushu.
In this heartwarming celebration of culture, honor, and the fighting spirit, Mulan takes up arms while disguised as a boy in order to spare her father from having to serve in the army. Mulan and her mischievious sidekick Mushu must then save the emporer from the invading Huns.
